PKK

An attack was launched by the PKK this morning with a bomb-laden vehicle nearby the Riot Squad Forces Directorate in Şırnak’s Cizre district, which killed 11 police officers, injured 78 others including 3 civilians.

The improvised explosive device planted on the road by PKK members has been detonated during the passage of a military vehicle in Şırnak’s Uludere district, two soldiers lost their lives. Three soldiers have been wounded in the attack launched on military vehicle in Hakkari’s Şemdinli district.

One soldier has lost his life, three others wounded in the conflict erupted between PKK members and security forces in Dersim’s Nazımiye district.

A ranger has lost his life in the armed conflicts that occurred in Hizan district of Bitlis province and an improvised explosive device paved on the road has been detonated while a military vehicle dispatched to the region was driving by. Three soldiers have lost their lives in the explosion.

There are casualties reported in the attack launched with a bomb-laden vehicle on the Elazığ Security Directorate.

In a bomb attack carried out by PKK members detonating a bomb-laden vehicle in the city center of Van province, two civilians and a police officer have been killed. 73 persons including 20 police officers were injured.
