A clash has erupted during an operation launched against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in which three soldiers have been killed, three others wounded in Güven Dağı region of Çukurca district in Hakkari province.
The clash erupted at around 6:40 a.m. close to Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government border.
Aerial supported operation has been launched in the area, according to Doğan News Agency (DHA) and state-run Anadolu Agency.
The DHA reported that seven PKK members were killed, nine PKK members wounded were captured. (AS/TK)
