People's Defence Forces (HPG) has claimed responsibility for the attack that was launched with a bomb-laden vehicle in Van wounding 53 people.
52 of the 53 people were discharged yesterday (September 13).
The attack had taken place nearby Justice and Development Party (AKP) Provincial building, police security point and special forces security point at Beşyol position.
Fırat News Agency (ANF) reported that HPG Press Communication Center (BİM) on its statement said a barrel bomb, which was used by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) against the HPG, was used in the attack.
According to the HPG's statement, 18 police officers and special operation members have been killed, over 30 AKP state officials and special operation members injured in the attack. (AS/TK)
