Türkiye had 127 work-related fatalities in November
In the last 11 months, there have been 1658 work-related fatalities, with 127 deaths on the job in November, according to a new report from the Health and Safety Labour Watch (İSİG). İSİG figures show that 5 workers are killed in a day on average in Türkiye.

47 Energy Workers Dead, Half by Electric Shock in 2015
In the energy sector, at least 47 workers lost their lives in 2015. 22 of them have died due to electric shock, seven others due to traffic accident, five others due to dropping, four others due to smashing, three due to drowning and each two due to wreckage, explosion and gunfire.

414 Workers Killed on the Job in May
Along with the workplace murder at mine in Soma, at least 414 workers lost their lives in May 2014. Among the dead workers, 10 of them were women, 404 of them were men and 2 of them were children. In the first five months of 2014, at least 810 workers lost their lives.
