University student Y.O. has said that she was sexually assaulted and battered by the assistant of the driver while traveling from İstanbul to Ankara on an intercity bus. Y.O. has filed a criminal complaint with a medical report documenting the battery.

Defendant Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Emine Bulut Case
While the prosecutor of Emine Bulut case demanded that the defendant be sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment without any sentence-mitigation, the court has ruled that Fedai Varan shall be sentenced to life imprisonment for "willful killing".
