A military operation on the Görese Mountain in Diyarbakır started four days ago. According to the governor, "15 PKK members were killed". Access to the region was denied to members of the Peace and Democracy Party.

70 Arrests in Istanbul and Diyarbakır
34 people were arrested in Istanbul on 26 November. They were part of a group of 46 people, mostly lawyers, who were taken into custody on 22 November in the course of KCK operations. In Diyarbakır, 36 out of 43 people in custody were detained.

A soldier and two village guards were killed in armed conflicts with the PKK in Van. An attack on a police team in Diyarbakır left one police officer dead. A total of twelve people died in armed clashes within the past four days.

Blast Bomb in Diyarbakır, Noise Bomb in Istanbul
A bomb thrown to a shuttle of the Police Vocational School in Diyarbakır left four policemen injured. A noise bomb placed in a bus in Istanbul was brought to explosion by the bus driver at the side of the road. Nobody was wounded.

A total of 24 people including journalist Pamuk, NGO members, politicians and children, were taken into custody in the scope of KCK operations in the pre-dominantly Kurdish cities of Van, Şırnak, Mardin, Muş, Bingöl, Ağrı and Diyarbakır, five people were arrested.
