M.E.’s family, many members of BDP and Gültan Kışanak, BDP Diyarbakır Metropolitan Mucipality Mayor Co-chair candidate have arrived outside the hospital as soon as they heard of the incident.
M.E.’s father spoke up
“What if a 9 year-old child throws stone at the police or not? If they have any shame, they wouldn’t have shot a little child. The police didn’t need to shoot my child in this way even if he threw stone at them. I will sue them. I won’t give up,” said father Nazmi Ezer as he was waiting outside the hospital and told that the police attacked the children in his neighborhood.
It was stated that Leyla Zana, Diyarbakır Independent Deputy talked to Efkan Ala, Minister of Interior on the phone in relation to M.E.’s situation. Efkan Ala will reportedly send ministry inspectors to Diyarbakır.
