Tunç Soyer and Mansur Yavaş, who have been elected as the Metropolitan Mayors of İzmir and Ankara from the Nation Alliance, have received their certificates of election.

In İstanbul, the opposition's candidate İmamoğlu is ahead of his AKP rival Yıldırım by 15,823 votes, with recount being completed in the 90 percent of the ballot boxes.

CHP and İYİ Party leaders Kılıçdaroğlu and Akşener have held a joint statement for the press. Drawing a parallel between Erdoğan and 1980 coup leader Kenan Evren, Akşener said, “We are faced with an Erdoğan who has carried Evren a league further.”

HDP has announced that Supreme Election Council has rejected its request for recounting of votes in Muş, where there is a margin of 538 votes. Co-Mayor candidate Sakık said, "Council hastily rejected the request. This people will not forgive you.”

An appeal by AKP for the cancellation of the elections in the district of Büyükçekmece in İstanbul has been rejected by the Provincial Election Council. Commenting on that, CHP has claimed that AKP "intends to steal the elections."

Mehmet Maçoğlu, who has been elected Dersim Mayor as the candidate of the TKP, has got his mandate. After the ceremony in front of the municipality building, he will take the office from the trustee.

According to the latest data shared by Ekrem İmamoğlu, the candidate of the Nation Alliance for Metropolitan Mayorship of İstanbul, İmamoğlu is ahead of Binali Yıldırım, the candidate of People’s Alliance, with a margin of 18 thousand 742 votes.

Releasing a statement, the Bureau of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe has stated, “When challenges are made relating to many thousands of votes, questions inevitably arise about the integrity of election process.”

The opposition's candidate for İstanbul has responded to AKP's claims that it gained 11,109 more votes after the recount, saying that he is ahead of the AKP candidate Yıldırım by 19,552 votes.
