AKP Spokesperson Çelik has responded to claims on the PKK leader's letter that was leaked just days before the İstanbul election rerun.

İmamoğlu has stated that he has 4.6 million liras worth of real property and roughly a million liras in his bank account.

Attorneys Ebru Timtik, Ayşegül Çağatay, Görkem Ağdede, and Nadide Özdemir have been arrested after beign taken into custody on June 20.

Russia’s Minister of Trade Denis Manturov has commented on Turkey’s purchase of S-400 missile defense system from Russia by saying, “Turkey has held firm.” Manturov has also announced that the delivery of S-400 will start soon.

In the advert he put on daily newspapers, the President thanked his party members and his allies but did not mention Binali Yıldırım.

Speaking at the group meeting of her party in the wake of İstanbul repeat elections, İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener has said, “The message given by the nation with İstanbul elections is quite clear: The nation wants peace. Winter is coming for the AK Party.”

Announcing its interlocutory judgement, the court has ruled that Yiğit Aksakoğlu shall be released on probation with an international travel ban and the arrest of Osman Kavala shall continue. The next hearing will be held on July 18, 2019.

Speaking about possible US sanctions on Turkey over its purchase of S-400 missile defense system from Russia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said, “No matter what sanctions are imposed, we have purchased the S-400s.”
