According to a recent survey by MetroPOLL, the proportion of people who disapprove of the President and Justice and Development Party (AKP) Chair Recep Tayyip Erdogan has risen by 10 percentage points since last year.
According to the company's survey, which was shared on social media, the proportion of those who approved Erdogan fell to 44 percent.
The proportion of those who do not approve Erdoğan has also risen from 38 percent to 48 percent in a year. In the same period last year, the proportion of those who approved Erdoğan was 53.1 percent.
According to the survey, 90.4 percent of AKP voters approve of Erdoğan, and the second-largest group of voters who approve of Erdoğan are the voters of the AKP ally Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), with 36.3 percent.
Voters of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) and the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) have the lowest approval rate. In the İYİ (Good) Party, support for Erdoğan was 9.7 percent, according to the poll results.
