The Constitutional Court has ruled that the rule stipulating that employers who fail to pay overtime fee to journalists to pay an extra 5 percent fee for each day violates the Constitution.

The planned celebration event in İzmir has been banned by Çiğli District Governorship.

Forty-five journalists who were fired from Hürriyet have made a statement at the Journalists Union of Turkey, saying, "We will fight until our rights are granted."
