İstanbul has lost 47 thousand hectares of forest land in 20 years
A recent report by the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality has shown that the city has lost 25 percent of its agricultural lands in 25 years. While 40 percent of İstanbul’s shores are inaccessible, the amount of active green land per person is 2.67 square meters.
