Three people died in Istanbul in an attack on a municipality bus, while two died in Kiziltepe after police fired guns. Clashes broke out in Taksim after police prevented demonstrators from making a press statement.

DIHA reporters Dengiz and Yazar were detained as they were covering the demonstrations staged on the anniversary of Ocalans arrest. They have been at the Mersin E-type prison for the last 10 days. The lawyers will object to the arrestation.
