The Constitutional Court has announced its verdict regarding İmam Bildik, who allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a vehicle during his mandatory military service. The court has ruled that his right to life and right of access to court were violated.

At the hearing at 28th Heavy Penal Court, attorney Eyüboğlu has requested recusation on the grounds that the court has already announced its verdict in the previous trials of academics and her client has been subjected to subjective practices, unlike other trials.

Being arrested in Rize, which is located 911 kilometers away from his family, Gökhan Saygı has said, “My family is having difficulties in coming to visit me. These are also financial difficulties, which leave behind an emotional impact as well.”

The Court of Accounts has made a statement after Zekeriya Tüysüz has been appointed as its Vice Chair in Charge of Audit. The court has stated that the change was done upon the request of former Vice Chair Çöker to be re-appointed as a member of the court.

Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Turhan has stated that 30 workers have lost their lives during the construction of the İstanbul Airport. According to the Laborers’ Health and Occupational Safety Assembly, the number of deceased workers has been 38.

85-year-old ill prisoner Sise Bingöl, who has been held in the Tarsus Type T Women’s Closed Prison in Adana, has been taken to hospital. Her attorney Gülşen Özbek has stated, "Sise Bingöl should be released immediately".
