Çilem Doğan Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison
The court has by a majority vote passed the sentence on the case of Çilem Doğan put on trial for killing her husband inflicting violence on her. The chief judge has noted that Doğan had acted in self defence and put the annotation on the verdict that she should thus be acquitted.
