36 of the 1,128 academics who are being tried for having signed the peace declaration of the Academics for Peace, stood trial before İstanbul Court. No academic has been acquitted. Their hearings have been adjourned.

Hearings of 10 Academics Adjourned to April 12
The first hearings of the 10 academics who are among the 1,128 academics standing trial for having signed the peace declaration of the Academics for Peace was held today in İstanbul Court. Acquiattal requests and the request to combine the cases were rejected. Next hearings of the 10 academics will be on April 12, 2018

Gülmen still on hunger strike in detention, was taken to intensive care unit in a conscious state yesterday evening. Her attorney Yılmaz said, they predicted an intention to stop Gülmen from attending the hearing.
