It has been alleged that a detention warrant has been issued for another US Embassy staff following the arrest of US Embassy staff Topuz. Minister of Justice Abdülhamit Gül rejected the allegations.

Concerning the arrest of CHP MP Berberoğlu, US Department of State Spokesperson Nauert has said “We’re concerned about the greater pattern of what we see as Turkish official actions that we believe appear to target people whose views differ from the views of certain members of the government”.

In the wake of Presidential bodyguards assaulting protesters in the US, Turkey has sent diplomatic note to the US on the grounds that the police stopping the bodyguards “caused a security weakness”.

Interpreting the statement Erdoğan read from the paper, the interpreter did “false” interpretations of the two disputed matters between the two countries; “YPG” and “aiding terror organizations”.

US President Trump and President Erdoğan met in person for the first time yesterday. Following the meeting that lasted 20 minutes the two leaders held a press conference.

About US arms aid to the YPG, President Erdoğan has said “I wish the US backs down from some of the facts that they’ve voiced”.

Following the US President Trump approving the legislation concerning arms aid to the YPG, the YPG in its statement said that it is a historical decision.

Anti - ISIS coalition Spokesperson Colonel Dorrian attending a press briefing in the US Secretary of Defence told that the Syrian Democratic Forces will join operation to liberate Raqqa.

Iraq Coalition spokesperson Dorrian in his statement has said “Turkish troops in Iraqi lands are not deployed with an official approval by the Iraqi Government”. Iraq had also stated that Turkey’s presence in Bashiqa camp in Mosul was invasive.

President Erdoğan, calling out to the US for the extradition of Gülen, has said, “We didn’t ask for documents when you wanted terrorists from us. We delivered those terrorists right away based on the extradition agreement”.

President Erdoğan has spoken about the extradition request for Gülen: “Sooner or later the United States will make a choice. Turkey or FETÖ. Coup plotter terrorist FETÖ or country of democracy Turkey.”
