The Progressive Legists Association, declaring that the rights of prisoners have been further restricted by Statutory Decrees, has expressed that prisoners’ rights to be visited have been obstructed, that they are not being taken to the hospital and their access to certain newspapers and TV channels have been prohibited.

Aktar: Kozakçıoğlu was the Black Box of Turkey’s State of Emergency
Former Bar Association chairperson Aktar said that Hayri Kozakçıoğlu served as the black box of Turkey’s state of emergency year and died before he could share his knowledge with public. Kozakçıoğlu has allegedly committed suicide.
