The President has called on the CHP Chair, who said the meeting might have happened, to prove the claims.

The President has spoken at the parliament, making remarks on the disagreement with the US on S-400s and F-35s, his meeting with Trump and the developments in Syria.

In a departure from his recent promises about repatriating millions of Syrians, Erdoğan has said that they cannot send people who "ran from barrel bombs."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has denounced the remarks of President Erdoğan on Armenians. “All the more, he deprives the victims of the Armenian Genocide of their historic homeland by way of calling them nomads”, the Ministry has indicated.

Trump and Erdoğan have commented on the developments in Syria and economic relations between Turkey and the US in a joint press conference after meeting at the White House.

Responding to President Erdoğan’s criticisms of “not sod-cutting ceremony” held for a biological purification facility, İstanbul Mayor İmamoğlu has said, “Preventing a wrong investment of 1.6 million, we will make the right investments at rights points."

Speaking on the occasion of “National Forestation Day” in Ankara, President Erdoğan has said, “In the past, some people attempted to pillage our cities under the pretext of trees. And, here we are, doing afforestation.”

"Recently, the EU's attitude toward our country is far from constructive. With this attitude, the union essentially damages its own interests,"the President has said.

President Erdoğan has pardoned three ill inmates sentenced to prison on a series of charges including “willful killing, willful injury and insult of public officers, use of unregistered firearms, qualified robbery and deprivation of liberty”.

The President has confirmed the meeting following a phone call with his US counterpart, after saying that he was not sure about going to the US after Trump's threatening letter.

President Erdoğan has said, “IMF asked for a loan of 5 billion Euros from us. I told the friends to give it. Then, as the IMF could not foresee what these crazy Turks would do, thinking that we could indeed give the money, it did not take it.”

The President has called on the international community to give financial support to his plan to resettle millions of refugees in northern Syria.
