Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun have been nominated as the co-mayor candidates for the People's Equality and Democracy Party in Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality.

DEM Party Co-Chairperson Tuncer Bakırhan addressed irregularities before the local elections, stating, "We will file a criminal complaint against the 51 thousand illegal imaginary voters that will cause us to lose the election in many centers."

Selahattin Demirtaş's spouse Başak Demirtaş is the favorite candidate of the DEM Party voters, according to a new survey.

The reason for the attack and the perpetrators have yet to be determined. However, the slain official, Ahmet Gün, has been receiving threats, says the DEM Party's spokesperson.
