Curfew

Protests condemning the ISIS advance in Kobane left at least 18 dead across Turkey. Curfew order remains in Diyarbakır province.

6 governors in Turkey's Kurdish-populated cities issued curfew in the following cities/districts until a second notice: Diyarbakır, Batman, Dargeçit, Derik, Kızıltepe, Nusaybin, Mazıdağı and Savur due to clashes between police and demonstrators over the Kobane protests.

One person died in the fight that started in Hakkari province on Friday and flared up again on Sunday evening. The governorate imposed a curfew across town, and Ertoşi and Pinyanişi tribes’ elders made a call for sensitivity.
