HDP’s Yıldırım has been relieved of MP duties due to finalized penalty for “insulting President”, and Ayhan for “terror organization propaganda”.

HDP Group Deputy Chair Yıldırım has been sentenced to 14 months in prison on charge of “insulting the president” and has been imposed a penalty over TCK 53/1 meaning “prohibition from political rights”.

HDP MPs Baydemir, Yıldırım and Taşçıer were taken by force to testify today. Another HDP MP Adıyaman was taken by force too today to give testimony. All four deputies were released following their testimony.

Following the lifting of the parliamentary immunities, HDP Muş MPs Ahmet Yıldırım and Burcu Çelik Özkan have been summoned to prosecution to testify.
