77,5 Years of Imprisonment to Peace Group
Seven members of Peace Group that came from Khabur border gate on October, 2009 are sentenced to 77,5 years of imprisonment in total. 2 members of PKK are sentenced to 30 years; five people coming from Mahmur camp are sentenced to 47,5 years.

At the 97th anniversary of Armenian Genocide, a commemoration event organized at Taksim Square. It was stated that leading 250 Armenian people were sent to a road of no return and it was a way of silencing them all.

The prisoners at Tekirdağ No.2 are accused with “shouting unnecessary slogans” and they got the penalty of deprivation of access to communication means and deprivation of accepting visitors for periods up to years. Prisoners Kılıç and Özçelik lost their right to release on probation, Kılıç will stay extra 10 years in prison.

There was a great shock for the people living in Süleymaniye, İstanbul on Tuesday, April 17th morning of the demolition preparations in Süleymaniye within the scope of urban transformation without any prior notice.
