The Istanbul Bar banned IHD deputy chair Eren Keskin from serving as a lawyer for a year. The reason for this decision is her prison sentence seven years ago. She will go to court and demand that the execution of the decision is halted.

Ciftci died during an operation in prison. A Turkish court continued to try the people detained during the events that broke out at his funeral ceremony. Genefke from IRCT said, those who opposed torture were standing trial, and not the actual torturers.

Turkish court acquits 47 people who were accused shouting slogans at the funeral ceremony of hunger striker Kayaci. Among the 47 defendants were a TIHV doctor Alp Ayan, union heads from CHD and IHD, and journalist Kaya.
