All Demands Rejected in Özgür Gündem Main Case
Kızılkaya who is one of the two arrested figures of Özgür Gündem trial held by İstanbul 23rd Heavy Penal Court has been brought to court, Kemal Sancılı attended via Audio and Visual System. The court has rejected all of the demands, the hearing will continue on July 22.

Journalist and columnist Hasan Cemal, who joined closed Özgür Gündem newspaper’s Editors-in-Chief on Watch campaign, appeared before judge today (March 7) following Mater and Türker. Cemal was fined 6,000 TL (1,500 Euros) on charge of “publishing statement of an [illegal] organization”.
