Rojava Diplomatic Mission Opened in Moscow

Rojava diplomatic mission has been opened in Russia’s capital Moscow.

According to the report on Sputniknews, Sinem Muhammed; Special Representative of the US and Europe has announced on the opening ceremony that the mission of Rojava would operate as a public utility.

Defining the opening of the mission as “A historical event for both Kurdish people and the people of Western Kurdistan”, Muhammed has added; “Opening the mission was possible thanks to the determined struggle of Kurds in Syria. We hope that this mission becomes the voice of our region”.

The President of the mission Rodi Ahman has stated that they wanted to help putting an end to Syrian crisis and were planning actions in this respect.

According to the report of Fırat News Agency (ANF), Rojava Foreign Affairs authority Sinem Muhammed and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır MP Feleknas Uca have cut the ribbon in the ceremony together. The nameplate of the mission has been written in Russian, Kurdish, Arabic and Assyrian. (NV/DG)
