Radio and TV Supreme Council Takes 3 TV Channels of Iraqi Kurdistan Off Türksat

The Radio and Television Supreme Council has ruled that Rudaw TV, K24 TV and Waar TV be removed from Türksat.

As the voting continues in the independence referendum held by the Iraqi Kurdistan region, the RTÜK decided to hold an extraordinary session.

All three TV channels are broadcasting in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and they were broadcasting through Türksat in Turkey. (HK/TK)
