November 25 demonstrations banned in İstanbul's Beyoğlu
Women's groups had announced that they would hold a demonstration in Taksim to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

The Beyoğlu District Governor's Office has declared a demonstration ban ahead of November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
In it decision, the governor's office cited announcements from women's groups about a demonstration in Taksim tomorrow.
Women's organizations, groups, and initiatives had called women to meet at Tunnel Square at 7 p.m. to march on İstiklal Avenue. (AÖ/PE)
