Malazgirt Co-Mayors Arrested
Malazgirt co-Mayors Halis Coşkun and Memnune Söylemez from Democratic Regions Party have also been arrested. The number of arrested mayors of municipalities governed by DBP has risen to 46.

Co-Mayors Halis Coşkun and Memnune Söylemez of Muş districts's Malazgirt Municipality governed by Democratic Regions Party (DBP) as well as DBP District Chairperson Mehmet Burhanlı were arrested yesterday (November 28) evening.
Taken into custody on November 18 in Muş, Coşkun, Söylemez and Burhanlı were arrested on charges of "being a member of an [illegal] organization", "conspiring to rig the bid" and "providing financial resources for a terrorist organization".
As of November 29, there are 46 co-Mayors from DBP-governed municipalities. (ÇT/DG)
