Bakırcıoğlu: Positive decision
Hakan Bakırcıoğlu, one of the advocates of Dink family, told bianet the following: “There is the possibility that the two cases are going to be merged. It must have happened already. In this case, it is a positive decision.”
“A crime organization”
Concerning the case on the murder of Armenian journalist Hrant Dink, Istanbul 5th High Criminal Court decided on October 30 to follow a ruling of Court of Appeals that ruled the retrial of defendants for charges under a crime organization.
Previously, the court also ruled the merging of the case of Ogün Samast - a then underaged nationalist who killed Hrant Dink - with the main Hrant Dink case. (EÖ/BM).
