Behind bars for 26 years, writer and illustrator Ahmet Bilge has drawn for bianet: “If you want the drawings to be in color, I can do it. But, it is pretty hard work to do it behind bars.”

Writer and illustrator Ahmet Bilge has sent a letter to bianet from prison. He has sent us his drawings in his letter stamped by "Elbistan Type E Closed Penal Institution, Commission for Reading Letters."
CLICK - 'Obviously, I'm in Prison'
Ahmet Bilge has been behind bars over the past 26 years. He is currently in Elbistan Type E Closed Prison. He has sent us the following drawings which illustrate what it means to be behind bars:
"Oh, Holy Manitu! How on earth can a message be so complicated? I wonder where it is coming from."
"It must be from the Middle East. The messages given from there are always complicated all my life."
"But, you don't know my worth at all."
