Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) released a statement denying the allegations that party officials Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder’s meeting with Vice PM Yalçın Akdoğan didn’t finalize on the number and names of Observation Council members to the resolution of Turkey’s Kurdish problem.
“Our delegation delivered the message that the Observation Council must be formed as soon as possible. However, no names have been put forward in the meeting as covered in the media,” HDP said a statement.

According to various news sources, Buldan said that a 16 member observation council is expected to visit PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan on Imrali Island.
It was also claimed that the the aforementioned delegation members will include 7 chairpeople of Turkey’s Wise People Delegation to the Resolution of Kurdish Problem.
The allegations were denied by Vice PM Yalçın Akdoğan on twitter.
HDP headed to Qandil
On the other hand, a delegation including HDP Group Interim Chairman İdris Baluken and Ceylan Bağrıyanık headed to PKK Headquarters in Qandil Mountain in Iraq to resume talks regarding the resolution process. (YY/BM)
