General Staff: 436 People Killed in Clashes in 2007
According to General Staff data, 312 PKK militants, 114 soldiers and 10 village guards died in 2007.
In the "fight against terrorism" in 2007, so the General Staff, 312 PKK militants were killed, 196 were captured, and 106 surrendered.
The news and the General Staff statement did not list the number of soldiers and village guards killed directly; however, from past announcements on the General Staff website it was possible to calculate that 114 soldiers and 10 temporary village guards died. (TK/AG)
