“There is blockade and attempted massacre here. There is neither electricity nor water. Let alone going to a store, people can’t even leave their homes. The stores are already closed”.
Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) deputy from Mardin, Gülser Yıldırım has said that she didn’t participate in oath-taking ceremony in parliament as standing by people exposed to intervention during curfew in Turkey’s southeastern district of Nusaybin in Mardin province would be the right thing to do.
The curfew is now in its 6th day.
