Heading to İmralı island to meet Kurdistan Workers' Party's (PKK) imprisoned leader Abdullah Öcalan yesterday (September 11), Mehmet Öcalan and attorneys from the Century's Law Bureau went to Diyarbakır today (September 12).
It is expected after having a meeting with 50 volunteers, who have been staging hunger strike since September 5 demanding a meeting with Abbullah Öcalan, the details of the meeting will be shared.
Abdullah Öcalan's brother Mehmet Öcalan had returned from the meeting last evening but left the Gemlik Gendarmerie Commandership without making any statements.

Returning to İstanbul from Gemlik, Mehmet Öcalan shared the details of the meeting with Century's Law Bureau attorneys representing Öcalan.
Following the meeting, Mehmet Öcalan and Mazlum Dinç from the bureau headed to Diyarbakır this morning.
The PKK leader Öcalan's message is expected to be shared with public after a meeting is held with the hunger strikers.
The hunger strike is on its eighth day

The Democratic Society Congress (DTK), People's Democratic Congress (HDK), Free Women's Congress (Kongreya Jinên Azad/KJA), Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) demanding a meeting with Abdullah Öcalan within legal rules had started a hunger strike on September 5, 2016 at Diyarbakır DBP central building.
50 people among whom are politicians and artists have joined the hunger strike, which is on its eighth day.
It was also announced on September 8, Thursday that 35 prisoners from seven prisons will start an indefinite hunger strike without rotation as from September 15. (ÇT/TK)
