8 Soldiers Lose Their Lives in Batman
Eight soldiers have lost their lives and one soldier has been injured in an attack launched by the PKK in Turkey’s southeastern province of Batman.

In an attack that was carried out by the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) in the district of Gercüş in Turkey's southeastern province of Batman today (September 4), eight soldiers have lost their lives and one soldiers has been wounded.
In a statement released by the Governorship of Batman, it has been stated that during an operation launched by the security forces in the rural areas of the Gercüş district, an attack was carried out against the armored vehicle with an improvised explosive device.
The governorship has also announced that a large-scale operation has been launched in the region after the attack. (EMK/SD)
