Having their final hearings in İstanbul and Kocaeli, four more academics have been acquitted in the wake of a verdict of “right violation” by the Constitutional Court. Academics for Peace have been acquitted by 17 courts across Turkey so far.

Upon the request of lawyer Eyüboğlu, the court has ruled that the Constitutional Court ruling on Academics for Peace shall be awaited till a verdict is given for three academics. One academic has also been given a deferred prison sentence of 15 months.
