"Ali Ismail's Killers Must Be Charged With Premeditated Murder"
The case of Ali Ismail Korkmaz, a Gezi Resistance protestor who died on July 10 due to a battery by a group, will begin on November 20. Prosecutors only charged the suspect policeman with life sentence. “Other 8 suspects must also be charged with life sentence” said advocate Arpacı.

No Release For Füsun Erdoğan on Hearing 20
Istanbul 20th High Criminal Court resumed the 20th hearing of MLKP case this morning with journalist Füsun Erdoğan and 23 other defendants, where no pending trial order was issued. However, a verdict might be reached on the next hearing, which will be held on October 30.

The only suspect on the killing of Gezi Park protestor Ali Ismail Korkmaz has been released last night under judicial control. “There is little possibility that suspect is the doer of the killing. We regard the court’s decision as normal,” Korkmaz’s advocate said.
