Yaman, Efeoğlu and Gül were disappeared in custody and their investigation files changed the prosecution office for the fifth time. Yaman’s brother says he testified to prosecution offices for 5 times, however he there is no concrete step taken.

Extra 10 Years for "Unnecessary" Slogan
The prisoners at Tekirdağ No.2 are accused with “shouting unnecessary slogans” and they got the penalty of deprivation of access to communication means and deprivation of accepting visitors for periods up to years. Prisoners Kılıç and Özçelik lost their right to release on probation, Kılıç will stay extra 10 years in prison.

“'Meticulous Attention' of Mr. Minister”
General Secretary of Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TİHV) Bakkalcı said that there are 520 patient prisoners in the prisons. He defined the manner of Minister of Justice Engin as “unserious” as Engin stated that “the patient prisoners are given medical treatment 'meticulously' ”. Bakkalcı also expressed that such an approach deepened the pain.

Ten people, among them also students, have been detained for 4.5 years by reasons of a lost police radio and contradictive police statements. Five of the detainees were eventually released on 27 March, the others will have to wait for the next hearing in three months time.

Convict Serap Şimşek suffered a stroke and fell ill with cancer while serving her life sentence. She has been lying at the infirmary with her hand cuffed for 8 months now. Convict Gülay Çetin passed away 1 month before the Forensic Medicine sent the report to release her immediately.

The new prosecutor in the trial against students Tüzer, Yılmaz and Aykar demanded imprisonment of 15 years each on charges of "membership of an illegal organization". The previous prosecutor had plead for the students' acquittal in the scope of "freedom of expression".
