Speaking at bianet’s digital media literacy workshop, Prof. Dr. Yasemin İnceoğlu said, “Media literacy is now no longer only a skill, but also part of democratic participation”. Deniz Yazgan Şenay and Hikmet Adal also made presentations at the workshop.

The first meeting for the year 2025 of the Media Literacy Coalition, organized within the scope of the “Our Media” project, of which the IPS Communication Foundation/bianet is a partner, was held online on January 6.

IPS Communication Foundation/bianet, along with NGO representatives engaged in media monitoring, a representative from RTÜK, teachers, and academicians, discussed the state of media literacy in Turkey, the issues related to the topic, and potential collaborations for its improvement.
