All defendants sentenced to prison in the KCK Yüksekova case
The trial over the Kurdistan Communities Union has been concluded. 30 defendants, including the dismissed and arrested Yüksekova Co-Mayor Yaşar, have been given prison sentences ranging from 8 years, 9 months to 17 years, 6 months.

Court Refuses to Release Suspect Lawyers in KCK Trial
The defendant lawyers in the second Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) trial in Istanbul requested a stay of proceedings and the release of the defendants. The court rejected all their demands in the suit where some 46 lawyers are currently facing terrorism related charges.

Ağrı KCK Trial: Prison Sentences of almost 92 Years
Eleven people who stood trial in the scope of the KCK case in Ağrı were sentenced to imprisonment of 91 years and eleven months in total. The court did not hear their defence speeches because the defendants requested to speak Kurdish at the hearing.

Defendant Abi Released Pending Trial
Ferzinde Abi, one out of 17 defendants of the KCK Trial in Van, was released pending trial due to health reasons. The President Judge had five-year-old Argeş removed from the courtroom because he 'disturbed his conscience'. The boy stays in prison with his detained mother.

Also the 17th hearing of the KCK case was jammed on the court's refusal to permit a defence in Kurdish. Defence lawyers Beştaş and Aktar argued that the court's resistance to the Kurdish language became a meaningless trig. They demand the release of the defendants.

The 16th hearing of the KCK trial against 151 defendants did not bring any new decisions. The request for a defence in Kurdish was dismissed once more. None of the 104 detained defendants was released. The trial was postponed to 18 January.

KCK Defendant Dicle Sent to Jail
A Diyarbakır court handed down a 1 year 8 months prison sentence to former DEP deputy Dicle on the grounds of praising imprisoned PKK leader Öcalan. Lawyer Laçin stated to file an appeal since Dicle is tried in the scope of the KCK trial under the same allegations.
