As part of the investigation launched into the ‘Montreux declaration’, the prosecutor’s office has summoned 6 retired admirals and 1 retired general to depose and their houses have been searched. Electronic bracelets are now placed on released admirals.

53 people released from detention on probation

Detained in İstanbul’s Kadıköy, where they gathered to declare the foundation of the United Struggle Forces platform, 53 of the 61 detained have been released by the court on probation. Eight people were previously released by the prosecutor’s office.
