A group of journalists have formed an initiative entitled “Haberin Var Mı” (Have You Heard) and launched a campaign on Twitter to raise concerns and publicity about the arrested journalists in Turkey: “We will not bow to anyone, we will not stay silent.”

Several local associations established an initiative against the Early Warning Radar System as part of the missile shield planned to be installed in Malatya. The initiative's aim is not protest but to prevent the installation of the radar.
