Interior Ministry Bans Pro-PKK Demonstrations on Aug. 15

The Ministry of Interior issued a ban on all demonstrations in the southeastern province of Siirt on the eve of the 28th anniversary of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKK) first armed raid on Aug. 15, 1984. A commemoration will nonetheless be held in Diyarbakır.
