The Journalists Association of Turkey addressed UN Secretary General Kofi Annan for support to release journalists Coşkun and Özköse who have been missing in Syria since 22 March.

Reporters Without Borders called on the Syrian authorities to release Turkish journalists Özköse and Çoşkun who went to Syria last week. Both journalists were abducted and reportedly handed over to Syrian authorities.

Journalists Özköse and Coşkun disappeared in Syria five days ago. Foreign Minister Davutoğlu assured to take every effort for a safe return of the journalists.
