Facing a curfew as part of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) measures in Turkey since April 4, children and young people aged between 15 and 20 were allowed to go out for the second time today (May 22).
While the curfew has been in effect for the ones aged 65 and older and the ones with chronic diseases since March 22, those aged 20 and younger have been restricted from going out since April 4.
With a decree issued by the Ministry of Interior on May 6, these groups have been allowed to go out once a week.
It was on May 15 when the 15-20 age group was allowed to go out for the first time since April 4. Today, they were on the streets again for four hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in several cities of Turkey. They walked around the streets with their friends and fed the street animals.
