The Workers’ Health and Occupational Safety Council (İSİG) has issued its August 2016 Corporate Murders report. According to the findings, at least 199 workers lost their lives in August and 1,250 workers have died in 2016 overall.
The data was collected by İSİG based on written, visual and digital media, as well as information acquired from labour-occupational organizations and statement by acquaintances. According to the data, the monthly breakdown of corporate murders is as follows:
115 workers in January,
144 workers in February,
160 workers in March
171 workers in April,
124 workers in May,
203 workers in June,
134 workers in July and
