Women will be in İstanbul’s Taksim for traditional March 8 Feminist Night March.
The march allowed for women and trans only will take place in front of French Cultural Center at 7 p.m.
The call of women for the night march is as follows:
“We as feminists have been holding night march in Taksim with our purple flags to raise our voice against patriarchy, capitalism, and heterosexualism. After passing a year in which attacks against our lives haven’t seen a decline and we continue defending our lives, we will elevate our insurgency and feminist solidarity on this March 8 too against patriarchy”.
Hackers had invited women to Fatih
Facebook groups of Women for Peace Initiative, Immediate Prevention Against Femicide, Abortion is Right Decision is Women’s, We Favor Life not Death were hacked.
The hackers announcing the 14th Feminist Night March to be held on March will take place in Fatih district on March 10.
Administrator women of the group were replaced with new administrators. (ÇT/TK)
