The deportation orders issued for the two women who were taken into custody during November 25 women's demonstrations in İstanbul were reversed today (December 2).
Saida from Azerbaijan and Dalila from Italy will be released.
Lawyers from November 25 Platform appealed the deportation decision yesterday.
November 25 Women's Platform was one bringing together women's organizations and initiatives taking part in the demonstration in Beyoğlu, in İstanbul on the occasion of November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
"Our appeal to the deportation order for our two friends taken into custody in November 25 demonstrations was accepted. Our friends will be released. We are going to the deportation center now to take them. Our solidarity goes beyond borders! Long live women's solidarity!" said November 25 Womens Platform in a tweet this morning. (EMK/PE)
