Two policemen, İsa İpek and Serdar Kazar, died in an armed attack carried out with long barreled weapons against Police Department in Adana, in southern Turkey. Two allegedly members of PKK were killed. The dead bodies of the attackers were sent to Forensic Medicine Institution of Adana.
Governor of Adana, Mustafa Büyük, stated that two persons had hand grenades, Kalashnikovs and mufflers.
Armed conflict and Land Mine in Şırnak
A gendarmerie station was opened fire in Şırnak, in southeastern Turkey. Two privates were wounded and then taken to Military Hospital of Şırnak.
A landmine exploded in another part of Şırnak. According to the website of Turkey’s Presidency of General Staff, there is no loss of lives.
Gendarmerie station was opened fire in Siirt
A gendarmerie station was attacked with long barreled weapons in Siirt, in southeastern Turkey. Perpetrators fled to the forest after the conflict. Air operation against the attackers started.
Armed conflict Bitlis and Diyarbakır
According to Fırat News Agency, Police Department of Bitlis, a southern province of Turkey, was attacked by People’s Defense Forces’ (HPG) rocket launcher. There is no loss of lives.
